All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and will be required to provide proof of work authorization upon hire. What You Get To Do Greets and provides guests with information about park shows and attractions Communicates safety policies to park guests Opens and closes gates for shows based on guest occupancy and show time Ensures excellent customer service by responding to customer requirements, expectations, and needs Enthusiastically represents the park by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job Maintains cleanliness of all assigned areas Performs other duties as assigned What It Takes To Succeed Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds Must be able to climb stairs Must have strong written and verbal communication skills Must be able to read, write, and speak English Must be able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced work environment Must be able to work with cleaning machines Must be able to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time (often in direct sunlight) Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions (wet/humid and sun) Must be able to positively interact with park guests and co‑workers of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or languages, and individuals with special needs Availability And Hours This is a seasonal role During the peak season, must have 5 days of unrestricted availability, including weekends You must be able to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays Hours vary based on business need May be scheduled 0–40 hours per week based on business need Compensation 19.00 USD per hour Benefits FREE park admission Discounts on park admission tickets and passes for family and friends Park discounts on food, merchandise, etc. Scholarship opportunities Exclusive employee events and giveaways EEO Employer SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
