Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmacy services. This role involves ensuring accurate dispensing of medications, patient counseling, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards in a pharmacy setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret prescriptions accurately
- Dispense medications in accordance with prescribed instructions
- Provide expert advice and counseling to patients regarding medication usage and side effects
- Maintain accurate patient and prescription records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Ensure strict adherence to pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols
- Manage inventory and medication storage appropriately
Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensed Pharmacist with current state registration
- Proven experience as a Staff Pharmacist or RX Pharmacist
- Strong knowledge of prescription medications and potential interactions
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and healthcare team collaboration
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
