Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Travel Required Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative for a growing transportation company in Jacksonville, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic sales professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and working independently while making a direct impact on business growth. - Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers
- Conduct in-person sales visits throughout Central Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri
- Generate new business through prospecting and cold calling
- Gather customer information and identify transportation and logistics needs
- Provide solutions that meet customer challenges and business objectives
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and account management
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
- Represent the company professionally at customer meetings and industry events
- Previous sales, customer service, account management, or coordination experience preferred
- College degree or some college coursework preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Honest, dependable, and customer-focused
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to learn industry-specific products and services
- Comfortable making cold calls and developing new business relationships
- Willingness to travel Tuesday through Thursday throughout assigned territories
- Occasional air travel may be required
