PURPOSE OF JOB: 

The Talent Acquisition Partner will be the second addition to our growing TA team. As high growth medical device company, we're building the foundation of our TA function — this role offers true ownership in shaping how we recruit as we scale. This is a hybrid role, with the expectation of being onsite in San Mateo, CA. or West Jordan, UT a min. of 2 days weekly . Under the guidance of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Partner will help creatively evolve recruitment processes by building reliable partnerships with hiring managers, focused primarily on identifying, engaging, and presenting top talent and building strong pipelines across the organization.

We're looking for a natural relationship builder with high ownership, ability to dive deep into the details and thrives in a fast-moving environment. In this role you will wear multiple hats, experience evolving priorities — and offer real input into how we build process, not just execute it. You'll be one of two people supporting hiring across the entire organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own full-cycle hiring, from drafting job descriptions and posting requisitions through sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiation
• Proactively source passive and active candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, industry associations, employee referrals, and networking
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Commercial [DA1] functions
• Partner closely with hiring managers and department leaders to understand skill gaps and provide consultative hiring guidance
• Maintain accurate, compliant, and up-to-date candidate records and workflow tracking in ADP Workforce Now
• Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications to ensure a positive candidate experience
• Represent Route 92 Medical authentically across all candidate touchpoints, contributing to a strong employer brand in the medtech space[DA2]
• Support compliance with federal, state, and industry-specific employment regulations
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to recruiting processes, tools, and candidate experience
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS FOR SUCCESS:

• Working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance, including FMLA, ADA, EEO, and pay transparency requirements across states
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent candidates and the company professionally
• Ability to manage a steady requisition load (average 15) while staying organized, responsive, and focused on continuous improvement
• Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms
• PHR or SHRM certification a plus

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• High school diploma

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years in a full life-cycle talent acquisition role, with strong emphasis on sourcing, hiring manager consultation, and candidate development
• 3+ years demonstrated ability to build pipelines and present qualified candidate slates
• 3+ year recruiting in a highly regulated industry (medical device, life sciences, pharma, or similar)

The actual base pay is dependent on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience, market data, skills, geographic location, and business needs. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity . The advertised posting range is reflective of a cost of living difference between California and Utah.
