Hematologist Oncologist, Cancer CenterDothan, AL | $325,000 to $450,000 per year | Full-Time | On-SiteSoutheast Health operates a fully integrated, high-volume cancer program serving more than 600,000 patients across a 75-mile regional referral area in southeast Alabama. The program is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hematology/Oncology physician to join an established team of multiple hematologist oncologists in a combination inpatient and outpatient practice setting. The cancer center is physically adjacent to hospital services, with infusion, radiation oncology, and dedicated inpatient oncology units all on the same campus.ScheduleDay shift, Monday through Friday, 1.0 FTE. Shared call structure with the existing Hematology/Oncology physician team.Compensation$325,000 to $450,000 annually, structured as base salary plus wRVU productivity incentives. A sign-on bonus is available. The position is within a PSLF-eligible environment for physicians carrying qualifying federal student loan debt.What You'll DoThe physician delivers comprehensive hematology and oncology care across inpatient and outpatient settings within a multidisciplinary cancer program. Outpatient responsibilities include clinic visits, chemotherapy management, and infusion oversight through an onsite infusion center with full outpatient chemotherapy capabilities. Inpatient responsibilities cover dedicated oncology units staffed by specialized nursing teams, with radiation oncology and rehabilitation services available for consultation and coordinated care planning.The physician works as part of an established team with a shared call structure, a strong regional referral network, and access to multidisciplinary support services. There is an expectation of participation in quality outcomes monitoring and coordinated care delivery across the service line.
