What You’ll Do As a Consultant within AmPhil’s Planned Giving consulting group, you are responsible for driving project management and deliverable execution for multiple concurrent client engagements and projects. When ready to do so, the Consultant will also begin to serve as engagement lead on select client accounts. The salary range for this role is $55,000-80,000. Primary Activities And Responsibilities Include Creating, maintaining, and coordinating project schedules, calendars, tasks, and other key planning tools across various internal and external parties to ensure accurate tracking and timely project completion; Driving the execution and quality control of key client deliverables by writing, editing, and/or coordinating completion of projects such as emails, letters, proposals, development plans, progress reports, and designed collateral; Scheduling calls, drafting call and meeting agendas, taking call notes, and noting action items; Managing up to colleagues working together on client engagements; Communicating regularly with clients in a professional manner, including taking the lead in responding to client needs when possible; Assisting with data review and analysis, and proposing recommendations based on findings; Serving as engagement lead on a small number of engagements, meeting regularly with clients and building strong relationships while advising on a wide range of planned giving fundraising, communications, operations, and management questions and projects; Supporting business development efforts by accurately identifying client and prospect needs, effectively communicating AmPhil offerings as needed, supporting the cultivation of current clients through excellent client service, and attending conferences and events as requested; Helping to identify, test, and prioritize which planned giving services to offer to clients; Keeping up-to-date with state and federal regulations for charitable giving; Advising public charity clients on creating and growing their planned giving programs; Working directly with clients and their donors to drive and support planned gift acceptance – answering planned giving questions and helping them implement solutions; Educating AmPhil staff on planned giving services and strategies; Working collaboratively with the planned giving team and other AmPhil departments; Contributing to firm culture through strong engagement, communication, collegiality, and conviviality; and Other duties as requested.
