Riverside Country Club | Bozeman, MT Cook on a real line without the 1 am close. Riverside is a member-owned private club minutes from downtown Bozeman; no Gallatin Canyon commute, no seasonal layoff, and a kitchen that's done earlier than most. We're looking for an experienced evening line cook who's steady under volume and takes pride in the plate. Pay $24-$28 / hour, depending on experience, plus a share of banquet event gratuities Schedule Wednesday-Sunday, 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm (early close - home by 10) Position Type Full-Time, Year-Round (not seasonal) Department Culinary / Kitchen Reports To Executive Chef / Sous Chef Why Cook at Riverside Quality of life: shifts end at 9 pm - no late-night closes and a predictable weekly schedule. Position Overview The PM Line Cook sets up their station, prepares and cooks food to Riverside's standards, and follows all Gallatin City-County Health Department food-handling and hygiene regulations as well as RCC policies. Reporting to the Executive Chef or Sous Chef, this cook is a key member of a collaborative kitchen team committed to delivering outstanding food for our members and guests. What YOU'LL Do Set up and run your service station; keep food properly stored, rotated, and stocked. Portion and cook to standardized recipes; plate with care and consistency. Hold the pace and quality during peak service and banquet events. Help develop daily and weekly specials alongside the chef team. Keep equipment in good working order and report issues promptly. Follow all Gallatin City-County Health Department and FDA food-safety codes. Work cleanly and communicate clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house team. What WE'RE Looking For 2+ years of line or sauté experience in a fast-paced kitchen (lead experience a plus). Able to think on your feet and make quick decisions based on the volume of business. Reliable, punctual, and steady under pressure. A team player who takes pride in hospitality and high standards. Physical Requirements Constant standing and walking throughout the shift. Frequently lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs. Frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
