The Pediatric Endocrinology Division at our organization is looking for a full-time physician to become the fourth member of our established and collaborative team. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a pediatric endocrinologist who is passionate about inpatient care, education, and advancing their career in a nurturing academic setting.

Clinical and Academic Duties:

• Provide inpatient care for pediatric patients and newborns.

• Manage pediatric sedation and complex care cases.

• Engage in active teaching of medical students and residents across Pediatrics, Medicine-Pediatrics, and Family Medicine.

Position Overview and Qualifications:

• Possess an MD/DO or equivalent degree with board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Endocrinology.

• Exhibit strong communication abilities and a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

• Demonstrate the capacity to teach, mentor, and work alongside medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.

• Seek opportunities for professional growth and engagement in medical education.

About Our Department and Facilities:

• A vibrant academic Department of Pediatrics featuring multiple residency programs.

• A diverse and esteemed division dedicated to patient care, education, and quality enhancement.

• Our team includes 3 physicians, 2 nurse practitioners, RN diabetes educators, a registered dietitian, and an endocrine RN.

• Facilities include 60 level 4 NICU beds and 19 PICU beds.

• Home to the only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in the region.

• Features the sole Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) serving 25 counties.

• Offers the only 24/7 pediatric emergency services in the area.
