Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Gulfport Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team at our 126‑bed skilled nursing facility in beautiful South Pasadena, Florida. We are undergoing a first floor renovation at this time. As a valued member of our care team, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their highest level of independence and mobility. Responsibilities Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for our residents Conduct evaluations, assessments, and interventions to improve residents' functional abilities and quality of life Provide educational and therapeutic activities to promote resident independence and mobility Collaborate with the occupational therapy team to ensure seamless delivery of care and services Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident assessments, treatments, and progress Qualifications Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or related field Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Florida Minimum of 0 years of experience in the field of occupational therapy Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, if necessary Work Environment Per Diem position with a competitive schedule Opportunity to work with a dedicated and supportive team Enjoy the beautiful Pasadena location, with easy access to beaches and other recreational activities Salary Pending experience and qualifications Benefits Pending eligibility and company policies #J-18808-Ljbffr
