As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting security-related operations. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including business operations, access points, parking areas, equipment locations, and perimeter boundaries. Monitor and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, facility conditions, and potential hazards to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. A guard card/license is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
