Azure Platform Engineer

We are currently looking for Principal Software Engineer (.NET/Azure) to support one of our clients with the following skills:

Job Title: Principal Software Engineer (.NET/Azure)
Location: West Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid Candidates must be local or willing to relocate from Day 1)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Pay Rate: DOE

We are looking for a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to join our client's engineering team in West Los Angeles, CA . This is a hybrid position, and candidates must either be local to West Los Angeles or willing to relocate and work onsite from Day 1 . The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with deep expertise in .NET/C#, Microsoft Azure, distributed systems, and high-volume payment platforms . This role requires someone who can architect scalable solutions, mentor engineering teams, and remain actively involved in software development.

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with .NET/C#
• 2+ years of technical leadership experience while continuing to write production code
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including AKS, Azure Service Bus, Azure DevOps, and Azure App Services
• Experience developing high-volume payment processing or financial services applications
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, messaging, and asynchronous processing using Kafka, Azure Service Bus, MQ, and multithreading
• Proven experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks and integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response using Datadog or equivalent platforms
• Practical experience implementing AI-powered features, automation, or developer productivity solutions with the ability to explain real-world use cases
• Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud-native applications, scalability, and system design
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
