Senior Benefits & HRIS Analyst

Job Requirements Position SummaryResearches, analyzes, evaluates, and administers benefit plans and programs in alignment with the organization's strategy. Analyze current benefits trends and offerings to assist with plan design and budget recommendations. Ensures HR systems integration and maintenance of the HRIS system to include leading design, build, and test of various enhancements. Ensures legal compliance and collaborates as needed with IT, legal counsel, brokers/consultants, vendors, HR staff, associates, and other internal stakeholders. Serves as a lead for less senior benefits staff members.Minimum Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.Experience 5+ years of human resources experience with HRIS and benefits administrationExperience with analysis and project managementPrefer experience with Infor/Lawson v10 or higherPrefer experience with Kronos v8 Advanced MS Excel skillsLicense/Registration/Certifications N/APreferred RequirementsPreferred Education N/APreferred Experience N/APreferred License/Registration/Certifications N/ACore Job Responsibilities Analysis: Provide technical research, analyze, and interpret complex benefit and compensation plan provisions and processes including comprehensive ERISA and PPACA compliance issues.Recruitment: Review benchmarking results and recommend changes, with analytics, to minimize budgetary and population impact.Retention: Assist in the coordination of onboarding, design, policy changes, etc. of physicians, mid-level providers and new acquisitions.Budget Compliance: Prepare and complete the annual benefits budget through preparation of financial analytics and review with the benefits leadership team. System Maintenance: Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintain HRIS tables. Document process and results.Production Support: Provide support for HRIS, including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.Projects/Process Improvement: Recommend process improvements and serve as a key liaison with HR staff, third parties and other stakeholders (e.g. payroll). Use project management skills in managing projects. May provide overall project management for a given HR initiative. Reports/Queries: Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools (Microsoft Add-Ins, Infor Spreadsheet Designer. Power BI). Assist Reporting and Analytics in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.Training: Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train clients on new processes/functionality. Train new system users.
