Treasurer

The Warrensville Heights Board of Education is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Treasurer. The Board seeks an outstanding administrator who will continue the focus on excellence, communications, trust, and transparency and be a strategic partner with the Board and Superintendent.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Financial Management
• Reporting & Compliance
• Payroll & Benefits Administration
• Purchasing & Procurement
• Cash & Investment Management
• Internal Controls
• Collaboration & Communication

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior School Treasurer/CFO experience is preferred
• An excellent communicator- both verbal and written skills
• Holds a valid Ohio Treasurer's License and understands Ohio school finance
• A collaborative and strategic leader
• Willingness to actively engage the community and various organizations
• Values teamwork
• Relationship builder who can build trust
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective interactions with the Board of Education, staff, students, parents, and the community
• Experience with COPs, financing, bond experience preferred
• Can lead a staff of six individuals
• Maintain great relationships with the partnerships in the community and local governing officials
