Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering therapeutic services that promote emotional and mental well-being. Your daily responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough clinical assessments and formulating personalized treatment plans based on the unique needs of each client, utilizing evidenced-based practices to guide your approach. Implementing a variety of therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to help clients cope with their challenges. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide comprehensive and holistic care to clients. Participating in regular case consultations and training opportunities to enhance the quality of care and stay updated on the latest clinical trends. Educating clients and their families about mental health, treatment strategies, and available community resources to foster a supportive network. Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and integrate new research findings into your practice. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will serve a diverse population of clients facing various mental health issues, ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex psychological conditions. Your empathetic and individualized approach will empower clients to work towards achieving their personal mental health goals, fostering resilience and recovery. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, reflecting your commitment to high academic standards. A valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia, demonstrating your professional qualifications to practice independently. A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, equipping you with the knowledge necessary to effectively assist a varied client base. Competency in solution-based psychotherapy techniques, allowing you to create tailored therapeutic strategies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building trust and rapport with clients and their families. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to navigate the complexities of client care. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, experience with teletherapy and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems are highly beneficial for this role.
