• Provides direct patient care evaluates outcomes consults with other practitioners as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
• Monitors medical condition of patients and reports changes to appropriate personnel.
• Reports abnormal diagnostic data to physician/shift coordinator/supervisor as appropriate.
• Demonstrates ability to perform technical nursing procedures/skills of patient care competently seeking assistance when appropriate.
• Implements patient histories assesses patients conditions and develops individualized care plans for assigned patients. Documents on care plans as patient care evolves including resolution of problems.
• Assesses patient educational needs and barriers to learning. Implements multidisciplinary patient education care plan and documents patient teaching

Job Requirements

Required:

• Associates degree in Nursing

• Current CA RN licensure

• CurrentBLS certification

• Current ACLS certification

Preferred :

• Two years of previous clinical experience in acute care.
