EHS Operations Lead — Manufacturing Safety & Compliance

Title: Lead Specialist – Operational EHS Type: 12-Month Contract Pay Rate: $35/hour (W2) About the Role Our client is seeking a Lead Specialist – Operational EHS (Services & Projects) to support facility operations and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards within a manufacturing environment. This role will work closely with the Operations Manager to maintain safe, efficient, and compliant facility operations. Key Responsibilities Support the implementation and maintenance of HSE management systems, policies, and procedures Conduct routine facility inspections and audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Identify workplace hazards and perform risk assessments; recommend and implement corrective actions Oversee facility operations including maintenance, security, HVAC systems, fire safety systems, and other infrastructure Lead incident investigations (accidents, injuries, near-misses) and ensure proper documentation and preventive measures Assist in managing vendor and contractor relationships, including contract coordination and safety compliance Organize and deliver HSE training programs and employee onboarding sessions Support development and execution of emergency response and preparedness plans Assist with budgeting and tracking expenses related to facility maintenance and sustainability initiatives Required Qualifications 2–5 years of experience in facility management and HSE roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance, and building codes Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP and Ariba Associate’s degree or higher in a relevant field Prior experience working in manufacturing HSE and facilities environments #J-18808-Ljbffr IMCS Group
