Mammography TechnologistHere at Fairview, we are now seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our breast imaging team at our Riverside Women's Clinic in Minneapolis, MN. This is a.6 FTE (48 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8AM - 4:30PM.ResponsibilitiesPrioritize work to achieve optimal patient outcomesUses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needsCommunicates effectively with all members of the health care teamApplies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing proceduresAdheres to radiologic diagnostic testing proceduresDocuments compliance with regulatory agency requirementFollows infection control guidelinesAdheres to safety protocolsEnsures imaging procedures meet all standards and protocolsServes as a resource for other healthcare team membersResponds appropriately to emergent situationsEvaluates imagine results for diagnostic qualityAssesses the validity of the test results to determine if consistent with changing physiological conditions or if due to possible interfering substancesActs as a resource for problem-solving resolutionDemonstrating ability to provide care of service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural difference of the population servedRequired QualificationsDigital mammography experienceARRT (R) (M)Minimum of 1 year of related experience in general diagnostic breast imagingMinimum of 1 year of experience working with patients in a capacity including frequent interactions and understanding age-life cycle needBenefit OverviewFairview offers a generous benefit package including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
