About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Current Epic EMR proficiency required - Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience - Ability to read Telemetry; competency will be tested on the first day Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse within a medical-surgical setting. The RN will work primarily on a comprehensive medical unit but may be required to float between various medical-surgical units as needed. The shift is overnight from 7 PM to 7:30 AM with every other weekend required. There is no call requirement for this position. Proficiency in the Epic EMR system is essential and refresher classes or one-on-one training are not options. Telemetry reading skills will be assessed and a failure to pass will result in immediate termination. The facility reserves the right to adjust scheduled hours per contract duration. All requested time off must be disclosed upfront for consideration and must match the submitted documentation. The position may require holiday coverage.
