Compensation Attorneys with 13 years of experience: $110,000–$130,000 Attorneys with 45 years of experience: $130,000–$150,000 Performance‑based bonus opportunities Comprehensive benefits package Responsibilities Analyze and interpret insurance policies, including commercial general liability, excess, umbrella, and professional liability policies. Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and declination letters. Conduct legal research and provide strategic guidance on complex coverage matters. Handle declaratory judgment actions and other coverage‑related litigation. Monitor and evaluate underlying litigation to identify potential coverage issues. Collaborate with claims professionals, clients, and litigation teams. Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda. Participate in mediations, depositions, and court appearances as needed. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in New York and in good standing. 15+ years of relevant legal experience. Experience in insurance coverage, insurance defense, commercial litigation, or related practice areas. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
