Project Manager- Service

Service Project ManagerOwn service and modification projects from sales handoff through project closeout. Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, manpower plans, and resource requirements. Serve as the primary customer contact throughout project execution. Review customer requests for modifications, retrofits, upgrades, and additional work; develop scopes and coordinate quotations for changes outside the original project scope. Track project budgets, forecast costs, and manage financial performance against established targets. Coordinate engineering, purchasing, suppliers, field service, installation, and other resources required for successful execution. Manage project changes, risks, priorities, and customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Plan and support work performed during customer shutdowns and compressed installation windows. Travel to manufacturing sites for project kickoffs, installation activities, commissioning support, and project closeout. Maintain clear project documentation and communicate status, risks, schedule changes, and required actions to customers and internal stakeholders.Strong project management experience supporting industrial automation, manufacturing equipment, process systems, or similar technical equipment. Experience managing service, retrofit, modification, upgrade, or aftermarket projects strongly preferred. Ability to develop and manage project schedules, resources, budgets, and customer deliverables. Experience working directly with customers in a technical/project environment. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, including urgent customer needs and short shutdown windows. Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer-management skills. Experience with SAP, Microsoft Project, Salesforce, Outlook, and Microsoft Office preferred. Bachelor's degree in engineering, a technical discipline, business, or project management preferred; equivalent relevant technical/project experience will also be considered. Experience with industrial paint automation, process systems, final assembly systems, or comparable automotive/industrial manufacturing equipment is preferred. Ability and willingness to travel to customer manufacturing sites as required.
