The Principal Technical Specialist is responsible for solving customer problems for Micro-E business Growth.

This position reports to the Director of Scientific ＆Laboratory Services and is part of the Scientific ＆Laboratory Services, TS team located in Japan and will be fully remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Visit customers with Sales team to close filter sales opportunity; obtain technical VoC for filter needs for CIP/NPD; provide technical seminars.
• Interact with customers to define customer's technical issues and solve the issues regarding filtration, separation and purification.
• Lead TS team (and functional teams) to provide technical support to identify root cause of Customer Product Performance Issues across product and application areas.
• Internally to make test plan and write report with clear conclusion to convince customers.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• BSc or advanced degrees (MSc, PhD) in chemistry.
• Proficiency in English (besides local language).
• Minimum five years of technical experience in semiconductor industry (fab, material supplier, OEM) with knowledge in semicon advanced Wet Etch and Lithography process.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent report writing and communication skills

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel – 60 % travel, 1-2 days/week overnight, within Japan
