RN - Infusion

Registered Nurse Infusion

The role involves providing nursing care in an infusion center. Key responsibilities include accessing and managing ports. Administration of blood and blood products is required. You will also administer chemotherapy and monitor patients. Handling body fluids post-chemotherapy is part of the duties. You will recognize and communicate abnormal lab values. Experience in outpatient oncology is preferred. Working effectively as part of an interdisciplinary support team is essential. The patient age group includes adults and geriatrics. Flexibility to float to different departments is expected. Travel assignments may also occur within a 75+ mile radius. Candidates must have the ability to manage and dispose of cytotoxic spills. Participation in ongoing training and educational modules is required.
