Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Surgical Services, OR Tech / Surgical Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgery and ensure proper sterilization of equipment.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of surgical procedures.
• Handle specimen collection and labeling according to protocols.
• Participate in routine maintenance and cleaning of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report changes to surgical team members promptly.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with various surgical procedures including cardiovascular and ortho trauma preferred.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system desirable.
