Job Summary : Approved Fire Protection & Security is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Project Manager with a strong background in fire sprinkler installations, estimating, and system design. This individual will play a key role in preparing installation proposals, reviewing project specifications and drawings, coordinating sprinkler system layouts, and supporting commercial fire sprinkler projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong field experience combined with technical estimating and design knowledge.

Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Prepare detailed fire sprinkler installation estimates and proposals.
• Review blueprints, project specifications, and construction documents.
• Perform material takeoffs and labor calculations for installation projects.
• Assist with sprinkler system design coordination and layout planning.
• Coordinate installation schedules, materials, and subcontractors.
• Interpret NFPA codes and AHJ requirements related to sprinkler installations.
• Support permitting and project documentation processes.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, field technicians, contractors, and customers throughout project execution.
• Track project budgets, labor, and material usage.
• Maintain accurate project documentation within Profit Zoom.

Required Qualifications: 

• Experience with sprinkler installation estimating and project design preferred. 
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. 
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and sprinkler system layouts. 
• Experience with AutoCAD or sprinkler design software preferred. Valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be willing to travel throughout NJ as required to project field locations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be competent with all work-related power tools.
• Excellent work ethic.
• Language: English 

Preferred Qualifications:

• NICET Level I or II (Water-Based Systems).
• Ability to be proactive in communicating and working with other departments.
• Ability to work in a team or on their own.
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday 7:20 AM – 4:20 PM
