Position Summary
The Donor Relations Coordinator supports Ezekiel Ministries’ fundraising and donor
stewardship efforts by helping maintain strong relationships with donors and ensuring
development activities are organized, accurate, and timely. This position has a particular focus on
monthly and recurring donors, donor communications, gift processing, donor database
management, and development support.
Working closely with the Director of Development, the Donor Relations Coordinator helps
ensure donors feel appreciated, informed, and connected to the mission of Ezekiel Ministries
while providing the administrative and operational support needed for successful fundraising
efforts.
Primary Responsibilities
Donor Relations & Stewardship
- Serve as a primary point of contact for monthly and recurring donors.
- Build and maintain donor relationships through phone calls, emails, handwritten notes,
and regular follow-up.
- Assist with donor retention and stewardship efforts.
- Support donor appreciation and recognition efforts, including thank-you notes,
acknowledgments, and occasional donor gifts.
- Help ensure donors receive timely and thoughtful communication about their support and
the impact they are helping make.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with donors as directed by the Director of Development.
Development Support
- Assist the Director of Development with day-to-day fundraising and stewardship
activities.
- Support fundraising campaigns, appeals, events, and special projects as needed.
- Help prepare donor correspondence, reports, presentations, and basic fundraising
materials.
- Provide creative support for donor communications, campaigns, events, and stewardship
efforts, including helping develop ideas, materials, and donor touchpoints.
- Assist with the creation and coordination of mailings, invitations, donor updates, and
other development communications.

- Help coordinate follow-up activities related to donor outreach and fundraising efforts.
Donor Data CRM Management
- Take primary responsibility for the accuracy, organization, and ongoing maintenance of
the donor database/CRM.
- Enter and update donor information, gifts, interactions, and other relevant donor
activities.
- Own donor lists, reporting, tracking, and data pulls needed for development activities,
campaigns, events, and stewardship.
- Process gifts and ensure all contributions are accurately recorded and properly
categorized.
- Manage the receipting and acknowledgment of all gifts in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date donor records.
- Regularly review donor data for accuracy, duplicates, missing information, and needed
updates.
- Provide donor reports and information to the Director of Development as needed.
Administrative & Team Support
- Support scheduling, donor follow-ups, and development task tracking.
- Assist with donor mailings, letters, and other communications.
- Help maintain organized development files and materials.
- Collaborate with ministry staff to ensure donor communications accurately reflect
Ezekiel Ministries’ mission and values.
- Provide additional administrative and development support as needed.
Qualifications
- Entry-level position; 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- A passion for the mission, values, and faith-based work of Ezekiel Ministries.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.

-Comfortable working with donor databases/CRMs or willing and able to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and follow through
independently.
- Comfortable communicating with donors by phone, email, and in person.
- Experience in fundraising, donor relations, administration, customer service, or nonprofit
work is helpful but not required.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar programs.
