Part Time Hospitalist Opportunity

UNC Health Johnston is looking for a board-certified/board-eligible (BC/BE) hospitalist to join the growing hospital medicine program in Smithfield and Clayton, NC. Affiliated with UNC Rex / UNCHMG, these positions involve delivering high-quality, team-based benefits, including a quality bonus, CME, retirement plan, and malpractice coverage. Smithfield is located just thirty minutes from Raleigh, the vibrant state capital. Schedule: 7 am-7 pm (2-3 shifts biweekly)

Requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy school
• Internal Medicine Residency preferred
• BC/BE
• New trainee welcomed

Other information:

• Meeting the board certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified Internal Medicine
• DEA;MD

Professional Experience Requirements:

• Prefer prior hospitalist experience.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

• Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.

Reasoning Ability:

High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills are essential in order to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board-certified in Internal Medicine.
