About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience Description: Orientation is bi-weekly. Candidates must be able to start on or before the designated date. Approval to use the Rapid Onboarding Checklist is required. Facility has 294 beds and is Joint Commission Accredited. Offers various services including cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, and surgical services. Located approximately 45 miles east of a major city and 2 hours from the coast. One hour from major universities. Nearby recreational area available. Patient population includes all age groups. Must have experience with common diagnoses and treatments such as respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis, and hypertension. Position requires a team player with a positive attitude. Education required: Associate's Degree in Nursing. Dress code: Any scrub color is acceptable.
