As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control and badge processes, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.40 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 05:30 AM - 05:30 PM Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders. Complete accurate reports, logs, and shift documentation related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and security-related observations. Minimum Requirements: Must be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends, as a Branch Flex employee. Must have at least one year of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Must be available for last-minute shift scheduling as a Branch Flex employee. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
