Job Summary The Physician Assistant responsibilities include assessing patients’ medical history and HPI, addressing concerns regarding telemedicine services, and providing personalized care in a virtual setting. Job Duties & Responsibilities Discussing and reviewing patients' medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications. Asking situation-specific questions to ensure appropriate care. Formulating suitable treatment plans for non-threatening conditions. Prescribing diagnostic tests to aid accurate diagnoses. Analyzing diagnostic test results and explaining them to patients. Maintaining accurate records of patients’ contact details, medical history, prescribed medications, allergies, diagnoses, and progress. Advising patients on diets and exercise regimens to improve overall health. Assisting patients in managing chronic health conditions. Recording accurate and timely notes in EMR. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation by completing required forms and records before the end of each shift, in alignment with organizational standards and compliance guidelines. Requirements Active NY Medicaid and Medicare IDs (can start immediately). Licensed Physician Assistant in NY. 2‑4 years of experience in an urgent care or primary care setting treating diverse patient populations (including all ages). EMR experience. Strong attention to detail and a patient‑oriented, compassionate disposition. Ability to consult with patients through virtual communication channels. Professional communication skills with clients, colleagues, and team members. Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy. Compensation Pay range: $150,000 – $181,000 per year.
