Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week (9‑hour days) Shift: 9‑hour days Employment type: Travel Qualifications Graduate of an AMA‑approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology. Minimum 18 months of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience, preferred in a critical care setting. Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Responsibilities Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures. Process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology. Provide images, data analysis and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures. Evaluate images to determine the technical quality and calibration of instrumentation. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted practice guidelines. Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner. Work effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, patient focused, and compassionate. Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
