SALES ANALYST

Territory: Northeast Division - NJ
Reports to: Territory Manager
Department: Sales

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Analyst supports commercial execution within the assigned territory through data analysis, sales cycle management, and operational coordination. This role provides accurate and timely business information to support decision-making, monitors key performance indicators, and helps ensure smooth coordination between Sales, Logistics, Billing, and other internal teams. The Sales Analyst also supports data integrity, pricing and promotional compliance, customer information management, and administrative processes to help the sales team achieve coverage, performance, and profitability objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consolidate and analyze sales, inventory, and returns data to prepare reports and insights for Team Leaders and Sales management.
• Monitor key commercial performance indicators, including sell-out, coverage, and quota attainment, and identify trends and performance gaps.
• Coordinate with Logistics and Billing to support a smooth order flow and proactively address supply chain or billing issues.
• Review price lists, discounts, and promotions to ensure accurate application and help prevent billing errors.
• Maintain and update customer and territory information within CRM and ERP systems, ensuring data accuracy and proper segmentation.
• Coordinate logistics for POP materials and promotional activities to ensure field teams have the necessary resources.
• Support internal administrative processes, including travel expenses, approvals, and workflow management, in accordance with company policies.
• Provide operational support and coverage for key territory functions when needed to maintain business continuity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in sales support, administrative, analytical, or related roles.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of sales processes, billing/invoicing, and logistics operations.
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and KPI monitoring skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate commercial information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and cross-functional collaboration skills.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work on-site and collaborate with Sales, Logistics, Billing, and other departments.
• Ability to safely drive for extended periods as required for store rotations and customer visits.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while visiting retail locations.
• Ability to lift, move, or handle promotional materials or product samples weighing up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while performing analysis, reporting, administrative tasks, and meetings.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages

SCHEDULE

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
