Diagnostic Radiology Technologist

This full-time, day-shift Diagnostic Radiology Technologist role is based at our walk-in clinic in Paoli, IN. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 9am-4:30pm, with no nights or weekends required. In this position, the Technologist will perform X-rays ordered by our APPs, engage directly with patients, and complete all charting and reporting within our clinical software systems. Operates imaging equipment such as x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, and fluoroscopy equipment used in surgery. Prepares patients by explaining exam and positioning them correctly. Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging. Follows radiation safety protocols. Documents detailed patient history. Stays current with continuing education. Monitors patients during exam for safety. Documents necessary information in EMR. Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed.

Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience. Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required. Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning. Requires active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R), through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a recent graduate of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology (board eligible). If board eligible, must obtain credential in Radiography within 6 months of hire. Requires current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist or a current ISDH Radiology Student Permit.
