Electrical EngineerLocation: Griffin, GA 30224 (On-Site) Duration: 12 Months Daily Schedule: Monday - FridayPosition's Contributions to Work Group:- Supporting engineering project leads and electrical team leads to develop subsystem designs and component designs to meet customer requirements.Reason/motivation for request:- Addition or BackfillWhy this Role?- Fast paced, challenging designs and timelines with exposure to higher level managementTypical Day or Week in the Role Typical task breakdown:- Creo designing, detailing, and releasing of full standby power solutions thru all aspects of the project (concept, detailed design, release, purchasing support, build support, commissioning support)Interaction with team:- Daily interaction with local team members and international team membersTeam Structure:- Electrical leads support design engineers with requirements and timelines. Leads report back on project status weekly - 7 are on the team, 4 local, 3 in different locationsWork environment:- In office with dedicated desk surrounded by local team members from the electrical subsystem team, mechanical subsystem team, and project level engineering teams - It is office based but may require going to the shop floor to investigate. Steeltoe shoes and other PPE would be requiredCandidate Requirements Education & Experience Required:- Years of experience: 8 - Degree requirement: BSEE or BSEET - Potentially open to Associates degree with 12 years - if the experience is specifically relevant to the required skills. - Potentially open to Masters with 6 year experience - if the experience is specifically relevant to the required skills. - Do you accept internships as job experience: no - Are there past or additional job titles or roles that would provide comparable background to this role: noTop 3 Skills:- Creo Modeling - AutoCad basics - TeaCliententerAdditional Technical Skills (Required):- 480V and 208/120V AC power system design - Power distribution - DC system designs(Desired):- Creo Cabling - Creo RSD - TCP/IP knowledge - J1939 and RS-485 network knowledgeSoft Skills (Required):- Organizational skills - Must have good communication skills
