As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk Operations in Nazareth, PA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201) : Familiarity with managing access control systems and issuing badges to ensure the safety and security of our facilities.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202) : Proficiency in monitoring and responding to alarm systems, ensuring prompt action in case of security breaches.

• Customer Service Experience (B219) : A strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service, as our security team often serves as the first point of contact for visitors and staff.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify access authorization, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery records in accordance with site policies.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and/or communication systems; report unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and front-desk logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
