Mon - Friday (possibly 6 days/week)
Temp-to-Hire!


5am to 5pm

Job Requirements:

Summary: The Sanitation Technician performs plant sanitation duties to ensure quality products are produced, packaged, and prepared for delivery to customers in a safe manner.

Primary Tasks/Responsibilities:
Sanitation Technician will monitor and document chemical concentrations to ensure proper cleaning of equipment.
Sanitation Technician will clean and sanitize all tanks, vats, lines, and fillers and all areas of the plant as assigned.
Sanitation Technician will complete all assigned paperwork.
Sanitation Technician will perform preventative maintenance as assigned.
Sanitation Technician will maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
Sanitation Technician will Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures.
Sanitation Technician will follow all food safety and quality system requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer, and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience in a sanitation role in a high-volume manufacturing environment is required.

Sanitation Technician will have the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Sanitation Technician will have the ability to be respectful, approachable, and team-oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
Sanitation Technician must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.
Sanitation Technician must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.
Sanitation Technician Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with a full range of body motion.
Sanitation Technician must be able to work independently and/or on a team in a fast-paced environment.
Sanitation Technician Must be able to work in a wet and/or humid environment. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals will occur. Exposure to nut allergens.
Sanitation Technician Must be able to repeatedly lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
