In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, support vascular specialty services, and collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to deliver an exceptional patient experience. Clinic Hours: Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, Day Shift Overview The Physician Practice and Clinic Registered Nurse provide nursing care to patients in a physician practice or ambulatory clinic setting. Reporting to practice or nursing leadership, this role assesses patients, assists with procedures and examinations, administers medications and immunizations, and provides patient education and care coordination. The nurse manages triage, follow-up, and communication with patients between visits and coordinates with physicians and office staff. This role matters because skilled outpatient nursing supports chronic disease management, prevention, and continuity of care. The nurse handles clinical documentation in the electronic health record, supports population health outreach, and helps the practice run safely and efficiently. Experience One to two years of ambulatory care, clinical or medical- surgical experience is preferred Education Associate’s degree nursing (ADN) is required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred. Certification/Licensure Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required Successful completion of the NCLEX-RN examination is required Current state RN license is required Ambulatory Care Nursing (AMB-BC) certification is preferred. Responsibilities Assesses patients and performs triage in person and by phone. Assists physicians with examinations and procedures. Administers medications, immunizations, and treatments. Provides patient education and self-management support. Coordinates referrals, follow-up, and continuity of care. Manage patient messages and results within scope. Supports prevention and population health outreach. Maintains a safe, clean, and stocked clinical environment. Documents care in the electronic health record. The base pay range for full-time employment is $38.01 - $55.42 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
