In this role, you will provide outstanding customer service while helping to address security-related concerns with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Sat 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Sun 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and document arrivals, departures and/or deliveries in accordance with post instructions. Respond to incidents, access concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner, escalating issues through appropriate channels when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned buildings, grounds and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns. Communicate with staff, residents, visitors and public agency representatives regarding site rules, access requirements and/or reportable incidents. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
