Material Handlers play a crucial role in supporting the production of plastic parts by managing the organized flow of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods between the warehouse and production area. This position involves handling, tracking, and storing materials with a focus on accuracy, safety, and quality assurance. Entry-level candidates without prior experience in plastic manufacturing are welcome to apply, with opportunities for cross-training and growth on the Warehouse Team.

Responsibilities

• Handle, dry, weigh, and load plastic raw materials following documented procedures to ensure continuous production
• Use barcode scanners and computer systems to locate, track, and move materials and packaging accurately
• Plan and coordinate material movement according to production schedules and demands
• Set up and monitor auxiliary equipment such as conveyors, loaders, and dryers
• Conduct material quality tests, including moisture content checks, to maintain product standards
• Maintain safety standards and housekeeping in production and staging areas, including cleaning of equipment and debris removal
• Properly use personal protective equipment and forklifts to ensure a safe work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in materials handling
• High school diploma or equivalent
