ID: 78237870 Shift: 07:00-19:00 Description: - RN - PCU (639) - HCA HealthONE Swedish - 7A - 7P Unit Information: SRG Cardio / (639) Location: HCA HealthONE Swedish Address: 501 E Hampden Ave, Englewood, CO 80113 Floor: 5th Northwest Tower Building: 501 Main Hospital General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 30 Number of Staff 65 Type of staff: RNs and PCTs Day Shift 1 Charge RN, 5-8 RNs, 2-4 PCTs Night Shift - 1 Charge RN, 5-8 nurses, 2-3 PCTs Patient Ratios 1:4, often in a 1:5 ratio Type of equipment - Tele, transport monitors, suction, feeding pumps, trachs, bipap, cpap, heated high flow, chest tubes, foleys, pacer wires/pacers, iv pumps, scd pumps EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1-year current acute care PCU hospital experience BLS & ACLS Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Chest tube management, remove chest tubes, remove pacer wires, 12 lead EKGsO2 management (up to BIPAP & heated hi-flo)Drips heparin, diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, dobutamine, milrinone, ketamine List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Post-cath care; right & left heart caths, TAVRs, ablations, watchmans, pacemaker implantations, TR band management, neurovascular checksPost thoracic surgery care; VATs/RATs, resections, lobectomies, chest tube managementPre & post care of open-heart surgical patients; CABGs, MVRs, AVRs, Aortic Dissection repairs etc.Vascular surgery post op care Best personality Fit: Great team player High energy Flexible & adaptable Values communication & collaboration Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
