Full-Charge Bookkeeper

The Full-Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and contributing to the overall business growth. This position requires an experienced financial professional who can maintain up-to-date financial reports, manage accounts payable and receivable, and assist with budgeting and financial forecasting. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing the company's finances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Billing & Invoicing: Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring accurate billing for services rendered and timely payments from clients.
• Payroll Management: Assist with payroll processing, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, and provide insights for business decision-making.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in creating and managing budgets, as well as tracking expenditures and revenue to ensure the company's financial health.
• Tax & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and financial regulations, assisting with tax filings and maintaining accurate records for audits.
• Cost Control: Identify areas of potential cost savings and efficiencies, working with management to implement financial best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support business operations, ensuring the company's financial goals align with overall growth objectives.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a small to medium-sized business; Experience working in a trades is company a big plus!
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
• High attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and payroll processing.
• Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing financial tasks.
