Program Coordinator – Falls Prevention Specialist – Part Time Make a lasting impression on patient care at NewYork‑Presbyterian and uphold a long‑standing commitment to the highest level of performance. The Trauma Program at NYP/Weill Cornell has received a federal grant to create an Evidence‑Based Falls Prevention Program to reduce catastrophic falls among older adults. Under the direction of the Injury Prevention Coordinator and the Trauma Program Manager, Program Coordinators will enroll patients in the program, teach virtual evidence‑based falls prevention classes, document encounters in the medical record, and submit participation data to the federal database. This is a grant‑supported, part‑time position, currently funded for 2 years. It requires 20 hours per week of flexible weekdays hours (no weekends). Preferred Criteria Interest and/or experience working with older adults Spanish bilingual strongly preferred Technologically proficient Required Criteria Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of equivalent work experience Excellent writing and communication skills – verbal and written ability to convey mission and purpose to internal and external stakeholders Strong interpersonal skills, highly organized, and ability to work with diverse community groups Salary Range $66,300–$89,000 per year.
