Job Title: Clinical Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Acute Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an acute or sub-acute facility. License: A valid, current, full, and unrestricted Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the United States. Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association. - Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire. - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be completed within six months of hire. Must-Have: - Ability to perform a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge. - Capacity to work independently in completing assignments. - Familiarity with physician’s orders, standards of care, nursing policies, and hospital policies. - Commitment to supporting individuals of all ages and their families. Description: The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments. The position requires the ability to work independently in completing assignments. Nursing duties include support to individuals of all ages and their families. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience working in an acute or sub-acute facility. A valid nursing license and current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required. Additional certifications must be obtained within specified time frames after hire.
