Manager, Learning Business Partner/Consultant

Manager, Learning Business Partner/Consultant Capital One’s Enterprise Learning & Development team seeks a Learning Business Partner/Consultant to shape and deliver learning and development strategy for one or more lines of business. The role partners with key business and Human Resources leaders to design and implement learning initiatives for associates and leaders across the company. Responsibilities Partner with executives, HR leaders, and business stakeholders to co‑create the annual strategic learning agenda, define vision, OKRs, operating, and governance models, and ensure seamless integration and execution across business and learning initiatives. Collaborate with business partners to maximize knowledge sharing, peer learning, and optimize resource allocation to achieve the broader strategy. Lead design and delivery of learning programs and iterate from feedback and data. Project‑manage multiple initiatives, leading program teams and providing strategic support as needed; manage scope, timelines, budget, and risks. Own measurement and evaluation strategy to ensure learning solutions deliver desired outcomes. Collaborate on learner communications and external storytelling, sharing insights and outcomes. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years client‑facing consulting experience. Minimum of 2 years learning and development experience. Minimum of 1 year project management experience. Basic degree in a related field. Experience educating, onboarding, or supporting technical and non‑technical roles. Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels; strong communication skills. Demonstrated success collaborating with L&D professionals; customer‑centric mindset. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years advising and influencing leadership. 5+ years management consulting experience. 3+ years strategy creation experience. Familiarity with change management. Experience facilitating across multiple modalities (in‑person, virtual). Benefits Salary range: McLean, VA – $134,400 to $153,300; Richmond, VA – $122,100 to $139,400 (varies by location).
