Refrigeration Technician

WorkSource is seeking a Refrigeration Maintenance Technician to join our team at one of our cold storage facilities. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigeration systems and warehouse equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations in a temperature-controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and repair refrigeration systems
• Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment
• Troubleshoot issues and recommend repairs
• Test and evaluate equipment using diagnostic tools
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow OSHA and safety standards
• Work flexible shifts, including on-call as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of refrigeration or maintenance experience
  OR HVAC/R certification or technical degree
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to obtain HAZMAT certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cold storage experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills (component-level)
• Experience with CMMS systems (Oracle preferred)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in extreme temperatures (as low as -20°F)
• Comfortable working at heights (35+ ft)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to work nights and weekends
