Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.06 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial real estate buildings, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report observed concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials, maintain required logs, and direct guests in accordance with site-specific procedures. Document incidents, observations, and/or maintenance concerns accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
