Pediatric Cath Lab Tech

Position Overview Serves as a member of the Pediatric Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Independently functions during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Scrubbing in for procedures (Cardiac caths and pacemaker implants) Using hemodynamic system to monitor patient and document procedure On call for emergent procedures Minimum Qualifications Technical or Associates in Radiology + ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR Associate in Respiratory + RRT (Respiratory Therapy), active NBRC credential for RRT + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR Graduate of Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) Program/Degree and no experience OR 3 years of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education OR RCIS and/or RCES and 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education Required: Active BLS & ACLS certification (accepted from American Heart Association) Facility BayCare Health System, Cardiac Cath Lab-SJH Location St Josephs Main and Children’s Other Details Status: Full Time, Exempt: No Shift Hours: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Shift: Shift 1 Weekend Work: None On Call: Yes How often will this team member be working remotely?
