This is a high-impact global PR opportunity for an experienced communications professional with deep knowledge of Web3 and crypto. You will own the strategy for shaping brand perception across media, industry communities, and key global markets. The role combines strategic communications with hands-on media relations, executive thought leadership, crisis communications, and creative brand campaigns. You will work closely with product, security, legal, and leadership teams to communicate complex topics clearly and credibly. The environment is fast-moving and requires strong judgment, particularly when responding to sensitive industry or security events. You will collaborate with distributed teams and help build localized communications programs across regions including APAC, EMEA, and LATAM. Accountabilities

• Develop and execute a global PR strategy and communications calendar covering product launches, security milestones, strategic partnerships, community initiatives, and major company announcements.
• Build, maintain, and leverage relationships with tier-one technology, business, financial, and crypto-native media to secure high-quality organic coverage.
• Identify compelling news angles and proactively pitch stories to journalists, editors, and relevant industry publications.
• Own and continuously refine global brand positioning, messaging frameworks, voice, tone, and communications guidelines across public-facing channels.
• Partner closely with Security, Product, Legal, and other stakeholders to prepare accurate, transparent, and timely communications during network disruptions, security incidents, and other high-pressure situations.
• Develop executive thought-leadership programs that position senior leaders as credible voices in Web3 through speaking opportunities, podcasts, industry panels, interviews, and opinion pieces.
• Write and edit press releases, media statements, executive talking points, briefing documents, messaging frameworks, and other high-impact communications materials.
• Develop creative brand campaigns that increase awareness, make self-custody more accessible, and engage the next generation of Web3 users.
• Adapt global communications strategies for diverse markets and audiences, supporting localized campaigns across APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and other regions.
• Monitor media narratives, industry developments, and emerging reputational risks, providing timely recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
• Work effectively across a fully distributed international organization, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, brand marketing, or a related field, including at least 2 years of direct experience in Web3, crypto, or DeFi.
• Deep practical understanding of decentralized ecosystems, non-custodial wallets, smart contracts, Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks, and the broader blockchain landscape.
• Ability to translate complex technical and cryptographic concepts into clear, compelling, and accessible messaging for mainstream and specialist audiences.
• Proven track record of securing meaningful coverage in high-tier technology, business, and crypto media.
• Established relationships with prominent crypto journalists, technology editors, business reporters, and relevant media contacts.
• Exceptional storytelling and writing skills, with the ability to produce compelling communications and executive messaging under tight deadlines.
• Strong experience developing PR strategies, messaging frameworks, press materials, and executive communications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive or high-pressure communications with sound judgment, accuracy, transparency, and discretion.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams and executing communications programs across multiple regions and cultures.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with a highly hands-on, proactive approach to PR execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable operating in a rapidly evolving industry where priorities, narratives, and market conditions can change quickly.
• Must have the legal right to work in the country where you are based.
