Key Submission Requirements Licensure: Active Alaska RN license required at time of submittal. Immunization: Proof of flu vaccine required. Timeline & Onboarding: * Start date will be no less than 6 weeks after fingerprint cards are received for processing. * Fingerprint appointment must be scheduled and cards mailed within 2–3 days of offer acceptance to avoid start date delays. Job Summary The Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse delivers comprehensive perioperative nursing care for elective and emergency surgical cases across multiple specialties. The OR RN efficiently multi-tasks to maintain surgical case schedules and participates in after-hours call coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays. Core Responsibilities & Surgical Specialties Surgical Care Delivery: Provide perioperative care for a wide range of elective and emergency surgical procedures, including: Abdominal & Thoracic Orthopedics & Vascular OB/GYN & Urology ENT & Plastic Surgery OR Workflow Management: Multi-task efficiently to ensure surgical cases proceed on schedule throughout the day. On-Call Coverage: Provide after-hours call coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Qualifications & Preferred Requirements Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN, ADN, or Diploma); High School Diploma or GED required. Licensure: Valid, current, full, and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska at time of submission. Required Experience: Minimum 3 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience.
