Manager, Digital Customer Solutions - Packaging Coatings

PPG is looking for a Manager, Digital Customer Solutions to join our Packaging Coatings team! In this role, you will spearhead the definition, development and launch of digital and equipment solutions to create new revenue streams and drive stickiness by transforming the customer digital experience for our existing and new customers globally. You will lead the technical development and project management of the new digital solutions. You will report to the Director, Global Strategic Marketing - Packaging Coatings at our Pittsburgh, PA Office.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the project workstreams to establish a digital customer solution in collaboration with global strategic market managers, regional products managers, tech service, and sales to solve customer pain pointsLead the technical solution ideation and development across AI workstreams, equipment partnerships and technical teams, bringing innovative solutions to the groupPartner with marketing team to commercialize the offeringDevelop and execute product and service roadmaps in target market segments to support the execution of our growth strategiesMarket assessment / value proposition development and supportAssess market trends and perform competitive intelligence and benchmarking regarding digital customer experience and opportunities for utilizing digital solutions.Design user-centric features and experiences using personas and journey mapping techniques.New product development / launch / managementCollaborate with internal cross-functional team members, utilizing assigned resources for product/solution development activities. Lead workstreams and teams via influence to ensure on-time-in-full execution.Align new product launch process across regions to ensure excellent executions and successful rolloutSupport the development of training on the solutions and their value propositions for our sales and service teamsTeam and vendor managementFoster collaboration across software development, program management, and product management teams to ensure timely delivery of roadmap milestones.Develop strategic partnerships with software vendors and equipment partners to deliver a seamless digital customer experience.Up to 20%, including international travelQualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, preference for Masters or PhD. Digital and AI skills are required.10+ years of experience and a proven track record of delivering digital solutions or transformation productsExperience working globally with teams and customers, understanding cultural nuances to build trust and rapport with peopleProficiency in Agile methodologies, with a focus on prioritizing features and technologies that drive business outcomesDeep understanding of manufacturing processes and technical modeling capabilitiesHow we work: At PPG, we bring teams together to accelerate collaboration and career development, with in-person work Monday through Thursday and the opportunity to work remotely on Flexible Fridays.
