Dental Assistant – Star City Dental | Lincoln, NE
Prior DENTAL experience is REQUIRED!
Star City Dental is looking for a friendly, dependable Dental Assistant to join our Lincoln team. If you're passionate about patient care and enjoy working in a supportive, team-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you!
Pay & Schedule:
Pay: $20.00–$26.00/hourly (based on Dental experience and qualifications, Prior DENTAL experience is REQUIRED!)
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM

About the Role:
As a Dental Assistant, you'll help provide exceptional patient care while supporting the dentist and clinical team. You'll assist with a variety of procedures, maintain a clean and organized operatory, educate patients, and help ensure every visit is a positive experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
- Assist during dental procedures
- Take impressions, X-rays, and other diagnostic records
- Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols
- Welcome and prepare patients for treatment
- Educate patients on procedures and oral health
- Keep operatories clean, organized, and stocked
- Support teammates and maintain efficient patient flow
- Learn and use new dental technologies (CEREC)
- Dentrix Ascend
